We believe environmental stewardship aligns with our mission to assist and save animals in need. Therefore, we made a commitment to achieving carbon neutrality and we are all well on our way. We have installed solar panels that provide roughly 85% of our power needs. We built a rainwater harvesting system (3000 gallons!) which supplies fresh water for the garden and the animals. Our composting system is robust and creates all of the enriched soil we need to regenerate our garden beds annually.

Our farm provides a safe home for ponies, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, guinea pigs, cats , dogs and rabbits. We are particularly proud of our guinea pig sanctuary which is the forever home to up to forty guinea pigs. They also love to play on their edible garden filled with plants such as yarrow, aster, and sunflowers. We recently rebuilt our chicken coop, have created several filtered duck ponds, and operate an egg stand where we sell farm produce, including honey derived from our four beehives!
